Popey's Shed

Not just any  shed, it is the new home for many of local resident; Arthur Pope's restored engines. Arthur who has spent a great deal of time and skills restoring engines of the past has generously agreed to set up a range of his restored engines in the large area of the shed which has two viewing panels for the Public when the shed is not open. Much work remains to be done to tell the story of each engine and these stories will add interesting insights into the eras of present and past residents.

Situated on the Bunya Highway across the road from  the Bell Information Centre the display adds to a growing interest to preserve our past for the future, thanks to people like Arthur.
