Opera at Jimbour House 2005
Saturday 23rd July was this year's musical spectacular at the newly wrought Jimbour Amphitheatre and, again, was an outstanding success.
Once again Dalby Town Council and Wambo Shire Council partnered to carry out the major works necessary for the building of the "Jimbour Amphitheatre" - proving again the ability of the 2 councils to work together.
This event featured the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Roland Peelman and four of Australia's leading singers - Ding Yi, Lucas de Jong, Deborah Humble and Judith Henley.

Opera at Jimbour House 2003
July 27th 2003 saw the culmination of months of planning (a joint operation between Wambo Shire Council and Dalby Town Council) with the spectacular "Opera at Jimbour House".
With perfect weather, the majestic grounds of Jimbour House offered up the perfect event.
Conducted by Michael Morgan, the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra provided beautiful, rich music with their orchestral pieces and delicate support for the four solo singers - Nicole Youl (Soprano), Deborah Humble (Mezzo Soprano), Ding Yi (Tenor) and Tim DuFore (Baritone).
What a day !
Definitely one of those life experiences I'm grateful I did not miss.
